  Poor customer service.
  
  Ordered two sets of safety glasses a dark and clear set, which my employer was paying for, arrived to pick up and only received one set of transition glasses. When I queried why, I was told that the 2 sets of glasses exceeded my employers limit. That's fine, no real problem with that, except it wasn't mentioned when I ordered them. In fact the bill when I was ordering was seemingly 50% of the limit. Possibly an issue with the template they were using and they were actually over the limit.
  
  Since the two pair of glasses did apparently exceed my employers limit, why wasn't I notified and options presented to me? Maybe I would have chosen to for go the case? Or the coating in an effort to make the cutoff. Since when do OPSM staff make decisions for what the customer will decide? Next time I won't even need to choose the frames, OPSM staff are apparently so knowledgable they will choose for me. Clear or Dark? They will know. If not, they will just guess, as they did this time.

  Staff at opsm joondalup are professional and courteous. The optician was great. He concluded I have cataracts and referred me to a local specialist. He made it clear ring him if I have problems regarding the specialist. I have a problem as I am not in the right area for referral to apply. Rang for assistance regarding a referral to cover the area I live, no help was given at joondalup as they were busy and would contact me asap. It's now been 8days still waiting for call. I don't want to bother them as they're probably busy.

  Don't go here if you want good customer care, the staff we have seen have made us feel like we are wasting their time and have spoken to my wife in a rather condescending tone more times than one. We wish we went back to our former OPSM in Belmont to purchase new glasses, their customer care was always brilliant and nothing was too much trouble with regards to tightening and adjusting glasses - unlike Joondalup. Don't recommend.

  absolutely wonderful customer service. went in today with an issue with my sunglasses, without hesitation the staff fixed the issue even though they could have said no. and if you are wondering it would have been a $300 out of pocket fix for me if I had to pay.
  
  after already being a long time customer of this branch, They will definitely get my repeat business.
  
  other large companies could take a leaf out of the book these girls used today. its sometimes easy to say yes and make a customers day and have them come back rather than go for no and suffer the internet wrath we have these days.
  
  great job, it is very much appreciated.

  This was my first visit to OPSM Joondalup to choose a pair of reading glasses. The staff member was welcoming and very helpful - she suggested a range of frames to suit my face shape and I'm very pleased with my final selection. I was reassured to see that each pair I tried on was set aside to be cleaned before being put back - so a big tick for good hygiene! I visited another optometrist prior to OPSM and this didn't happen - everyone was trying glasses on and just putting them back on the shelves. All in all I would definitely recommend OPSM Joondalup to friends and family
