  Gave birth and spent time in maternity ward. Birth did not go according to plan; had several complications along the way....all of the staff in Labour and delivery, the surgical theatre, recovery ward AND maternity ward were absolutely fantastic. I felt comfortable And completely informed every single step of the way. I simply cannot recommend this hospital enough. Four weeks later, and I am still reminiscing about the absolutely beautiful staff I met on my journey. I felt entirely cared for and respected. A beautiful memory, thank you to all involved.

  I went to the emergency room and stayed for two nights. I am so impressed with the care and overall treatment by the entire hospital of nurses and doctors. I feel safe and happy with the light mood, humour and understanding by everyone. I can’t thank all of you enough!

  Great hospital. Have been there many occasions over the past 15 years and found the staff to be very welcoming and caring. Found the hospital clean and can not fault a thing. Keep it up joondalup health campus!

  Fantastic Public Hospital. I came in the emergency area with numbness through my left side of my body. The waiting was long however once I got into the ward, I was treated with high quality services, and friendly and kind staffs. They were empathetic and we had many great chats. They went far and beyond to make my stay comfortable and safe, not only for myself but also my family and friends that came to visit. Thank you so much to all the staffs and Joondalup Hospital.

  I was in the Intensive Care Unit and was astounded by the lack of professionalism and empathy shown by some nursing staff. I was made to feel I was in the way, I needed help as I couldn't get any oxygen in or out so I could not speak (I have some kind of virus & chronic asthma). I am anaphylactic allergic to dairy and I'm vegan. They have no food here for people like me, I was given the same "meals" for the past 4 days, I now weigh 45kg. I have now been moved to the ward (L2) where no nurses are available to even help patients during after hours. I haven't slept in 5 days and a man in the room next to me has his machine beeping for over 6 hours straight now. I understand nursing is hard and they're under the pump, but if you're not a caring and compassionate human being, get out! I hope I never need to return to Joondalup Hospital

  Wait times are a disgrace - 5 week old baby with suspected hernia - not good enough ???????????????? he ended up being diagnosed with a hernia that requires surgery yet they kept us waiting hours - then the very next day my daughter in law needed to be induced and they wouldn't let me in even though I know for a fact that 2 people are allowed in the room as I was in the birthing suite 5 weeks earlier with my daughter. and their were two of us in the room - to exclude family from this precious time is an absolute disgrace and disgusting - SHAME ON YOU MIDWIVES OF JOONDALUP AND SHAME ON YOUR WHOLE SYSTEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  My husband had a full thickness tear repaired at JHC by Mr Lim from Joondalup Orthopedic Group. Hospital staff were professional & caring, and he even had his own ward room on the public system.
