  We went to buy a leotard for new dance lesson. We walked in and started looking for the right color for us . Been looking for more than 5 mins. The shop staff never tried to talk to me or help me. Very unfriendly , very helpless.
  And her small dog was walking around the whole shop.
  If you or your kids are allergic to dogs ,you might want to be careful to stay there long. And their products might have dog hair ....

  Went in to design a leotard for our sports acrobatics group. We took in the design of image 1 and asked if they could do it. There were very clear about certain limitations they had which was great, and we agreed to doing a similar design which they said they were able to do (as seen in the drawing that they drew up for us). The total cost for the leotard was going to be between $350 and $375, so I put down a $180 deposit and my acro partner put down a deposit of $150 I believe. They came out NOTHING like what was planned and agreed to. The mesh was not lined and was completely see through at the front and back, the leotard under the skirt was also see through, and the design was completely different to what was agreed to. The skirt shape and fit was unappealing and nothing like the design and the shape and height of the different color flames was very different with no hour glass shape around the torso. When we expressed that we were not happy with the design, the owner got very rude and aggressive, we expressed that we did not want to go through with the purchased as they clearly were not to the standard and design they said they could produce. They attempted to rectify the issues (final two images), however the design was still completely different to the design we agreed to. They refused to refund our deposit despite failing to deliver what was promised, and they continued to be very aggressive towards us, yelling at us over the phone and hanging up on me. So $180 out the window with no leotard to show for it. Would not recommend for the customer service nor their product.

  Absolutely fabulous shop both instore and online - so much to choose from for both performers and Costume makers. Dance, Gymnastics, Calisthenics, Skating, Aerial artists etc . They have Leotards, Costumes (made on site), Headpieces, shoes, tights, bags, earrings, accessories, fabrics, trims, glue, bling, body boards and so much more. Super helpful and friendly staff with a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend a visit.

  I have been visiting Dance and Design for over 15 years to purchase custom designed costumes and dancewear. Now I take my daughter into the store for the same products. My daughter loves visiting Trish and the ladies at the "big pink dance store".
  
  I’m so impressed that the custom designs are all made in the shop after all the years it has been running. The dance wear fabric is such great quality, the fabric has such a nice feel to it while still holding the shape. I have had leotards and shorts made for my daughter which you can see in the photos below, the ladies even glittered a Energitiks bag with my daughter's name on it which was great for dancing!
  
  The customer service is 5 star, and they are always happy to give you information and advice when it is needed. I recommend visiting Dance and Design Fabrics in Joondalup if you need anything related to dancing, gymnastics or calisthenics.

  Had a costume made in 6 days. It's beautifully made and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate in getting another costume made here.Fantastic service with a smile ????
